Our First Ever Visit to Islands of Adventure & City Walk! Universal Orlando Resort
We haven’t been to Universal Orlando Resort in 28 years! Back then, Islands of Adventure didn’t exist yet, so this vlog is our first ever visit to Universal’s second Florida park.

First we stop by Toothsome Chocolate Emporium in City Walk to grab a tasty treat and stumble upon a surprise meeting with Dr. Penelope and Jacques the robot. We then head into the park to check out Marvel Superhero Island and ride the fan-favorite Spider-Man attraction.
After that we head over to Seuss Landing for some Dr. Seuss themed fun with the Cat in the Hat and the Carro-Seuss-el. We also enjoy the sights and sounds of each of the unique sections of this park, including Jurassic Park and Hogsmeade, before finishing the day with our first-impression thoughts and review of Universal Orlando Resort.

Discovery Cove is one of Orlando, Florida’s most unique theme park resorts and is just across the street from SeaWorld Orlando and not far from Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World.

We visited this unique animal-themed, all-inclusive resort for the first time and had an amazing experience swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with stingrays and tropical fish, feeding exotic birds, and enjoying the amenities for the day – including complimentary breakfast and lunch. We were offered an incredible Florida Resident discount that we couldn’t pass up, and we are so glad we didn’t. Come along with us for a day of marine fun!
